How to protect yourself with essential oils during climate change

In tropical or monsoon climates, it is common to experience from hot day to a rainy day.

Large changes in temperature and frequent air humidity can easily catch our immune system off guard and cause small conditions such as colds, coughs, sore throats, etc.


If you want to protect yourself from the effects of climate change, in addition to regular work and a balanced diet, the assistance of essential oils is also a natural and effective method. 


Today, I will share a few essential oils to help you maintain your health easily during the climate change!


Why are the alternating climate prone to illness?


  • Severe temperature difference → Increased body regulation burden

  • Humidity changes suddenly → respiratory tract irritation

  • Viruses are active → Cold and flu viruses have strong fertility

  • Immunity decreases → Being busy and staying up late can easily weaken your protection

1. R.C. - Respiratory Care is the First Choice

Efficacy: refreshing breathing, soothing nasal congestion, and supporting respiratory health


How to use:

  • Diffusing: 8 drops of R.C. essential oil to diffuse the fragrance to purify the air and help breathe smoothly.

  • Roll-on bottle: 10ml of base oil + 4 drops of R.C. essential oil. Prepare the roll-on bottle, apply it on the chest, neck, or soles of the feet to protect it.


2. Lavender - Soothes Stress and Promotes Rest

Efficacy: Soothes mood, improves sleep, and supports physical and mental repair


How to use:

  • Bath and relax: Drop 2-3 drops of lavender essential oil during bathing to release the tension in your body and mind.

  • Diffuse before sleep: helps relax and fall asleep, improving self-repair at night.


3. Thieves - Natural Protective Shield

Efficacy: Improve protection, purify air, and provide antibacterial protection


How to use:

  • Making an environmental spray:

30ml pure water + 10 drops of Thieves, spray the room, outside the mask, or carry-on clothing after the bottle.

  • Use of diffuser: Diffuse Thieves at home to create a clean and safe space atmosphere.


4. Peppermint - Refresh and Relieve Discomfort

Efficacy: Cool and refresh the mind, relieve nasal congestion, and throat discomfort


How to use:

Diffusing or sniffing: Diffusing several drops of peppermint essential oil to help refresh the mind and relieve the feeling caused by temperature difference.

Roll-on application: After diluting peppermint, apply to temples and neck to bring refreshing and comfort.


Focus on self-care in the season

  • Sleep well: at least 6-8 hours a day, giving the immune system time to repair

  • Drink more warm water: helping the body metabolize and detoxify
